Do you know what’s better than a 4-man fight on the ice? How about a complete 5-on-5 line fight! Friday night in the Kings/Thrashers skate-near the end of the second period one brawl started, turned into two and pretty soon everyone but the goalies were fighting. I miss the old days when the goalies would throw down too.
The Slanch Report has started an online petition asking the MLB Network to air the Dock Ellis no-hitter he threw on June 12, 1970 against the San Diego Padres. The moment was a seminal piece of baseball history and is certainly worthy of being rerun.
