There had been rumors that perhaps Bon Jovi would be doing the halftime show, but I can only hope that it is The Who, and them alone. I like me some Bon Jovi, but compare them to The Who and it simply is no contest.

In a slightly-related sidenote, I watched the Eddie Murphy special on Biography a couple months ago, apparently there is an entire movie script with music fully written and arranged that Eddie put together 20 years ago called ‘Purple Wheat’ where his buckwheat character plays Prince in a full-length Purple Rain parody. CAN THIS PLEASE HAPPEN??? I vote for Purple Wheat. This is a ballot, right?
