Erin Andrews spent her time away off from ESPN doing something right, because now that she’s back on the air she’s in even better shape than before as this picture from a recent game shows. Is there a condition better than game-ship? Ship-shape? All I know is that everything about this outfit works for me. The sideline princess is back and I for one couldn’t be more thankful. Yowzers.

Recent Cuban defector Aroldis Chapman has a 100 MPH fastball from the left side and is a free agent, his agent is looking for a contract reportedly in the $40 million range. As part of the early stages, Aroldis is going around to the various interested teams in order for both sides to get to know one another. For instance, his agents took him to Boston to meet with the Red Sox and his trip wasn’t all business, at least according to some of the photos Athletes Premier International posted on their Facebook page. 
In a strange bit of promotion, this time it was the AGENTS posting semi-risqué photos as opposed to some scurrilous blog. Sure, the girls are clothed (in lingerie mostly) but it seems to me like they took him to a strip club and then posted the photos on a public website.
Sure, he’s 21 and he should be allowed to have fun, especially coming from such a different culture in Cuba, but this seems to me like a bad way to advertise yourself to prospective employers. You’re mere weeks away from going from abject poverty to becoming a multimillionaire, keep it together. I bet Scott Boras saw that API did this and popped a chubbie thinking about stealing Chapman away.
API has since taken the photos down but of course, they were already grabbed and are now out in the open.
Wednesday night meant the beginning of the 4th season of Friday Night Lights airing on DirecTV. To celebrate one of the absolute best shows on television — that not enough of you are watching — here is the final of my three part series to get you more interested in the show.
FNL isn’t about football, despite the name, it’s about a city in Texas and the people and a community that defines itself by its football team. With excellent acting, particularly from Connie Britton and Kyle Chandler who are one of the best TV couples of all-time, and a strong ensemble cast, the stories are heart-felt, touching, humorous and exciting. And if you do like football, you have never seen more come-from-behind victories like Dillon High has. This show is phenomenal, every single person I have introduced it to has fallen in love with it, you will too. All you need is a desire to see quality television and everything else will fall into place.
Minka Kelly plays the role of Lyla Garrity, the former head cheerleader, super smart girl-you-always-wanted-to-be-with-but-is-always-with-someone-far-far-far-bigger-than-you. Sure, she’s not perfect, she cheated on her newly paralyzed boyfriend with his best friend in the first season, but she was only doing it out of grief and you know how that goes. Regardless, she’s so smoking hot that I can even overlook the fact that Minka is dating Derek Jeter currently. Or that she hasn’t returned any of my phone calls, replied to any of my letters and seems to have ignored all those carrier pigeons I sent her way. Sigh. So incredibly hot.

Adrianne Palicki plays the role of Tyra Collette, the super hot vixen type whose character develops decides she wants to go to college and get out of Texas and manages to do so, all the while remaining jaw-droppingly hot. Tyra was due to graduate at the end of the last season, so it’s unclear how much a role she’ll play this season, but goddamn, she is a very fine actress and an absolute smokeshow.
The best pro football team in Dallas isn’t the 4-2 Dallas Cowboys, no it’s the 2-0 franchise that has outscored its opponents 60-12, the Lingerie Football League’s Dallas Desire. I for one know which team I’d rather watch, after all, Tony Romo just doesn’t do it for me, too much of a gunslinger.
While on her way to meet New Orleans Hornet Peja Stojakovic, porn star Sienna West made this video showing her excitement to meet the Serbian stud just prior to them presumably banging. I had wanted to post it yesterday but the video was taken off Twitter, fortunately, some smart internet folks grabbed it and made a copy of the video so we can all enjoy it.

Marisa and Larisa Coy are busy during the week with their day jobs, teaching 6th grade math at two Baytown, TX middle schools, come Sundays, they are at Reliant Field in their duties as cheerleaders for the Texans. The twin 25-year-olds have been members of the Texans cheerleading squad for 5 years now, beating out 900 other young dancers at their first tryouts.
Since becoming Texans cheerleaders they’ve been featured in Sports Illustrated and the Texans cheerleader bikini calendar leading to some fun moments around the ol’ middle school.
“Most of the students already know, but others, when they first find out, they’re generally surprised,” Marisa said. “One of my students said ‘I’ve seen you before,’ so I had to tell him where he saw me.”
That has to be a difficult moment for a 6th grader to come face-to-face with the calendar image he’ s been abusing himself to and find out she’s also your new math teacher. Lord knows I’d have learned the FUCK out algebra though.
Brad Penny wasn’t so lucky on the field when he played for the Red Sox this season; however, he turned his season around, and made himself some money, by putting up strong numbers down the stretch for the San Francisco Giants. Off the field Penny has done very well for himself, including dating for a time Alyssa Milano who is far far far far far far out his league. He’s done it again as noted scumbags and rumor-mongers TMZ captured a video of Penny making out with his apparent new love interest, Dancing With the Stars dancer Karina Smirnoff. I don’t get it, he looks like he was hit in the face with a paint bucket of ugly, yet he attracts these hotties. Is it just that he’s rich? It’s not like he’s some highly tuned athlete, I’m probably in better shape than he is.
Then again, she dated Mario Lopez for two years, so clearly she doesn’t have much in the way of taste…

I am HORRIFIED. During the Minnesota/Penn State this past weekend the Penn State football team twitter feed reported a truly SHOCKING story, “From the Centre Daily Times: Security guards confiscated two-thirds of a bottle of Captain Morgan’s from the Minnesota cheerleaders.”
College students DRINKING, AT A FOOTBALL GAME! ACK! What has this country come to, I remember the days when everyone would just go to the malt-shop after the game, have some soda, and then park somewhere and do some uninspired awkward heavy-petting. What happened to THAT America? The one where teens only drank alcohol because the tough kid in the leather jacket spiked the punch bowl as his doofy friends laughingly looked on and kept a look-out.

This has nothing to do with sports, but who cares, because it’s my blog and I think y’all should see Shakira performing on this past weekend’s Saturday Night Live. Goddamn! I didn’t know bodies could move like that. I also don’t know why Shakira hasn’t called me or nothing, I mean, I’m into her, why wouldn’t she feel the same towards me?
I once blew a near sure-thing hookup with a French-Canadian who looked identical to Shakira. True story, and still one of my biggest failures.
When I was in high school I played on the varsity tennis team as one half of the #1 doubles seed; that means that I’m both good at tennis and play well with others. I think Russian-born and French-naturalized tennis star Tatiana Golovin — who we’ve highlighted before — should keep both those points in mind because, after seeing these photos of her, I can’t get her out of my mind-grapes.
