I like this fight between Pittsburgh’s Bill Guerin against Carolina’s Tim Gleason because both sides get their chance to get some shots in. There’s no doubt that Gleason wins the early part of the fight but when Guerin piledrives him into the ice and then throws a few forearms to the face, it evens the score.

Normally if you see a video that advertises itself as a teen girl getting double-teamed on the Internet it is for something very different than in this clip below. Instead of hot teen action, we get HOT TEEN ACTION as Exeter High School’s hockey team’s only female player gets jumped by two opposing players. Immediately her teammates rally to the cause, but this young lady doesn’t need anyone to fight her battles for her.
While #4 might be bigger than she is, she gets up and just straight up PUMMELS him. That should teach him a lesson about messing with girls.
Toronto Maple Leaf winger Colton Orr loves to fight, when he’s on the ice you can guarantee someone is going to get hit, and if any of his teammates needs a hand, Orr is ever-ready to throw off his gloves and mix it up. This season he already has 7 fights notched on his belt and has 59 penalty minutes, 4th in the NHL. Here he is taking on and taking out the Senators’ Matt Carkner during Monday’s action.
If you play Fantasy Hockey and need some penalty minutes, Orr is one you definitely want to pick up. That is one mal-hombre.

Hey Ref, Why Don’t You Get Lost
During the Ducks/Leafs Monday night Anaheim’s enforcer George Parros squared off against Toronto’s resident tough-guy Colton Orr. The two tangled and threw a number of punches at one another, most of which glanced off the various pads they wore. As the fight seemed to wind down, one of the refs came close to try and separate the two pugilists and cart them off to the penalty boxes, the fighters were not down though. As the linesman approached Orr’s arm came out and shoved him to the ice, allowing Parros an opportunity to take down Orr with a right-hand punch and get him on the ice.
Looks like my boy Milan is ready for the regular season to get going. It also looks like Ottawa’s Chris Neil’s face isn’t gonna be so pretty anymore. HOCKEY BABY!
Are there better things than a good hockey fight? How about an NHL hockey fight between two Ivy League grapplers?

This is What Hockey Fans Need
Hockey may be going broke, with some teams struggling to stay out of bankruptcy, (nod Coyotes) so it’s nice to take a moment and think about the things that make hockey grand. For instance, the pugilistic skills of Aaron Downy and Cam Janssen. Well-played gents.

The Best Thing About Hockey
Via Fan IQ comes this video of a truly awesomely epic college hockey fight. Forget two guys squaring off, or even the goalies getting involved, this is TEAM ON TEAM! The clip comes from a game between Eastern Michigan and the University of Illinois, the competition on the ice didn’t seem as well matched, with the Illini winning 10-1, but this fight in the 3rd period made the night worthwhile for the gents from Eastern Michigan.
