Anaheim (Mighty) Duck Scott Niedermeyer generously skated over to the fans and gave away his stick the other night, tossing it over the boards. Showing true fellowship for their fellow man, it led to a fight between two Ducks fans jousting one another for the memento. Now you can enjoy making fun of these people from your computer!

Hey Ref, Why Don’t You Get Lost
During the Ducks/Leafs Monday night Anaheim’s enforcer George Parros squared off against Toronto’s resident tough-guy Colton Orr. The two tangled and threw a number of punches at one another, most of which glanced off the various pads they wore. As the fight seemed to wind down, one of the refs came close to try and separate the two pugilists and cart them off to the penalty boxes, the fighters were not down though. As the linesman approached Orr’s arm came out and shoved him to the ice, allowing Parros an opportunity to take down Orr with a right-hand punch and get him on the ice.
Last night’s Bruins/Ducks game was the first “Student Night” promotion of the season, one fan in attendance decided to show his displeasure with the Spoked B’s who fell 6-1. This unhappy fan alienated the rest of section 320, who cleared out shortly after a combination of the Ducks taking a 5-1 win and this guy throwing up his combination of nachos and flask liquor.
Go Bruins! The next student “night” will be a day game with the Avalanche on Monday, with plenty of tickets still available.
This Definitely Hurt a Lot
Mike Brown of the Anaheim Mighty Ducks wanted to make sure that the Red Wings’ Jiri Hudler knew Brown was on the ice, and so he delivers a CRUSHING hit at center ice. Of course, since the puck was nowhere near Hudler, Brown went to the penalty box after this one, but I don’t think that was much solace to Hudler who collapses instantly and starts gushing blood. I love the playoffs!
Are there better things than a good hockey fight? How about an NHL hockey fight between two Ivy League grapplers?
Here’s Doug Murray and George Parros squaring off against one another during the San Jose Sharks and Anaheim Ducks game. I love it!
