The Slanch Report has started an online petition asking the MLB Network to air the Dock Ellis no-hitter he threw on June 12, 1970 against the San Diego Padres. The moment was a seminal piece of baseball history and is certainly worthy of being rerun.

Tyson – Why is that Asian man about to reach into Mike’s tighty whities?
Maradona – Doesn’t look fat
Daly – The fat actually helps distract from his horrendous hair
Starks – Hilarious “before” pic, also doesn’t look that fat
Barkley – I’ve seen him much fatter
D. Wells – He’s fat in both pictures!
Danny Manning – He’s not white!? I guess I should watch more NBA
Dykstra – Looks like he just got punched in the face in both of those
Rick Mahorn – See Danny Manning
Cecil Fielder – Looks thinner!
Anyway, whoever put that together could have done a better job at finding “after” pictures that weren’t just “wearing a suit instead of a uniform” pictures.
I agree, the after photos were generally disappointing, but I do appreciate any effort to gauge the fatness of one-time idols
