Devin Harris is the Only Net Worth Watching

There has been almost nothing worthwhile to cheer for with the New Jersey Nets this season — something they anticipated when they offered ticket packages that gave away the OPPOSING team’s jerseys — but during last night’s Nets/Warriors game Devin Harris came through with one big highlight. Harris, one of the fastest players in the NBA saw CJ Watson going in for an easy lay-up so Harris decided to make it a bit more uncomfortable.

Wow. Too bad he’s languishing on such a miserably awful team.

Kevin Garnett Has Some Deep Range

In the waning seconds of the first half in Wednesday’s Celtics/Warriors game Kevin Garnett grabbed a rebound and, after a nifty spin move, launched up a 75-footer. The ball was definitely still in his hands when time expired and the refs rightly waved off the basket, but that doesn’t mean it wasn’t totally cool. Because it was. Watch.

Shannon Brown Slams in the NBA (Exhibition) Season

Last night was the start of NBA exhibition season which means we only have 9 short months until the end of the NBA Finals. Better rest up!

Shannon Brown of the Lakers hasn’t been resting up, here he is going coast to coast and throwing down a vicious dunk on professional stiff Mikki Moore.

Get ready for basketball highlights again!

Warriors Fool Around in Practice

During their shoot around yesterday, the Golden State Warriors decided to liven things up a bit by engaging in a punting competition. While NBA players may be great athletes, only Ronny Turiaf was able to punt the ball into the second level. Don’t worry though, the veterans weren’t extending themselves chasing after the balls, they had the rookies track them down in the stands instead. Also, during the video you can see Warriors assistant coach Stephen Silas walk across the screen with a computer, later in the practice players all gathered around to watch, presumably from the Slanch Report, the video of Corey Maggette traveling 6 times on one play that we showed you yesterday. Reportedly, everyone, including Maggette enjoyed it.

Corey Maggette Goes Traveling

Did you know traveling is illegal in basketball? It’s true! There are a whole series of rules regarding what constitutes traveling, but don’t tell that to Corey Maggette of the Golden State Warriors who manages to travel 6 times on ONE play. Impressive! Unfortunately Corey won’t be going to the All-Star skills competition with that move, but maybe next year.
