Using Dolphins Playbook iPads on “Unauthorized Websites” Will Get You a $10K Fine

dolphin-ipadThe newest trend in the NFL seems to be trading in the old, giant binders containing the voluminous playbooks of yesteryear and upgrading to a more modern technological means of disseminating information, specifically, iPads. However, with all the distractions available online how is a team to ensure its players are actually studying and not flirting with skanks on Twitter?

If you’re the Miami Dolphins you warn the players that visiting any “unauthorized websites” will lead to a $10,000 fine. That’s a hefty price to pay just to stay abreast of the Biebs’ latest antics.

Despite the draconian limitations on the iPads, most of the players are fans of the devices-as-playbooks. “It’s convenient,” wide receiver Davone Bess said. “Every day we were getting stacks and stacks of papers with the installs. Now they can just download them on the iPad and it’s there — Bam!”

Of course, since the players all make a minimum of $355K I think they can afford to buy iPads for take care of their Draw Something obsessions.
