London Hot Olympian of the Evening: Great Britain’s Louise Hazel

louise-hazelTo honor the London Games and the athletes participating in them, The Slanch Report will be bringing you THRICE DAILY a Hot Olympian of the Day. Each day we will bring you three (likely unknown-to-you) Olympians who, while maybe not quite worthy of a place on the medal stand, certainly are worth being placed on a pedestal for us to enjoy. Celebrate them all on the Hot Olympians page.

While the heptathlon is an individual event, Great Britain fielded a strong team in the women’s division. London favorite (and Hot Olympian) Jessica Ennis won the gold medal and Katrina Johnson-Thompson finished 15th. The third member of the team, Louise Hazel finished a disappointing 27th but the 26-year old first-time Olympian can hold her head high. Besides being stunningly beautiful and able to compete in basically every track and field event, she’s also a French language scholar. (And I’ve heard that’s the language of love!)

Thanks to reader Jeremy, Ms. Hazel is here to delight.
