London Hot Olympian of the Evening: Belgium’s Eline Berings

eline-beringsTo honor the London Games and the athletes participating in them, The Slanch Report will be bringing you THRICE DAILY a Hot Olympian of the Day. Each day we will bring you three (likely unknown-to-you) Olympians who, while maybe not quite worthy of a place on the medal stand, certainly are worth being placed on a pedestal for us to enjoy. Celebrate them all on the Hot Olympians page.

Eline Berings is competing in her first Olympic games in the 100M hurdles for Belgium. Coming off an injury marred 2011 campaign that prevented her from defending her 60M hurdles gold at the IAAF Indoor Championships, she’s healthy again and on her way to qualifying for a spot in the finals in the hurdles, going up against fellow Hot Olympian Christina Vukicevic and world champ Sally Pearson.

When she’s off the track, Berings, 26, studies psychology so there’s that too.
