Chefs Make World’s Largest Lasagna for Italian Soccer Team

The Euro Cup is down to the final eight teams and the tournament is still very much up for grabs; don’t tell that to the chefs at the Krakow hotel where team Italy is staying who have created the world’s largest lasagna in honor of the Azzurri. Made by executive chef Giancarlo Russo, the 4.8 TON lasagna took a team of ten chefs to make and over 10 hours to bake. It was sliced into 10,000 portions and officially recognized as the largest ever by officials from the Guinness World Records.

Presumably the players will not be expected to eat the entire thing themselves.
