After finishing the game game against the Samson (Al.) High School Tigers, Elba High School player Sandarius Reed, 18, allegedly got too friendly with several of the Tigers' cheerleaders during the post-game handshakes leading to criminal charges.
According to the DA, after the September 17th game between the two schools in the traditional handshakes after the game Reed groped the cheerleaders in an inappropriate manner. The Geneva County district attorney has charged the slot receiver/running back/outside linebacker with four misdemeanor harassment charges and he was released on $4,000 bail.
Considering that he received 4 charges of harassment, it's certainly more difficult for Reed (left, from his still active Myspace page) to insist that it was an accidental brushing or something. Looking at his chosen photos it seems Mr. Reed is very interested in showing off his sweet abs and may have something of an ego problem.
It's possible that Reed just wanted to give the cheerleaders a chance to touch a winner, considering Elba blew out Samson 35-6.
