On Friday a new level of violence was reached in Mexico City when the body of Hugo Hernandez, in seven pieces, was left on the streets as a threat to the Juarez drug cartel. Attatched to the body was a note reading: "Happy New Year, because this will be your last.''
In case the mutilated body wasn't enough, Hernandez's face was stitched onto a soccer ball!
Hernandez was kidpnapped on January 2 in an area known for growing weed but it is unclear why he was targeted. Martin Robles, a spokesman for the Sinaloa prosectutors revealed that Hernandez's torso was found in one place in a plastic container, a box with his arms, legs and skull in another spot and the gruesome soccer ball face was left in a plastic bag at City Hall.
Awful.
Not only is the violence in and of itself horrific, but how fucked up are you to sit there and STITCH someone's face onto a soccer ball? And how do you even DO that? That's a whole other level of psychotic.
Yikes.
